Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Back-End Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of server-side logic, database management, and scalable application development. You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to build reliable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for data modeling and performance tuning.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement data protection and security best practices.
• Debug and resolve performance or scalability bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, Django, Spring Boot, Laravel
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of security practices: authentication, authorization, data encryption
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an added advantage

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC
• Understanding of message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Exposure to DevOps tools and automated deployment strategies
• Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support full-stack integration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
