We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, nurturing prospective clients, and closing sales deals to contribute to the company's overall revenue growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting to identify and engage with potential customers
- Qualify and nurture leads through effective communication and relationship building
- Utilize sales techniques and negotiation skills to convert leads into paying customers
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted lead generation campaigns
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to improve overall sales processes and strategies
- Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in a sales development or inside sales role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to effectively handle objections and secure deals
- Proficient in using sales and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other relevant platforms
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
- Passion for sales and a drive to continuously learn and improve
Must-Have Requirements
- Mandatory experience in software / IT services sales (BD, SDR, or inside sales).
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on sales experience in a software services or IT services company.
- Proven experience with outbound sales, lead qualification, and client conversations.
- Comfortable selling services, not just products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.
- Hunger to build pipeline from zero and take ownership.
