Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one meetings with students to assess their academic progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide tailored guidance
• Assist students in course selection, registration, and scheduling to ensure they are on track to meet their degree requirements
• Advise students on academic policies, procedures, and resources available on campus
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and other campus departments to address student concerns and facilitate a seamless educational experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress
• Develop and facilitate workshops and information sessions on topics such as time management, study skills, and career planning
• Stay informed about changes in academic programs, policies, and regulations to provide accurate and timely information to students

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in academic advising or student support services
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills to effectively engage with students
• Ability to analyze and interpret academic records, transcripts, and degree requirements
• Familiarity with campus resources and support services to refer students as needed
• Proficient in using student information systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and a passion for higher education
