About the Job

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our mission-critical Control M infrastructure, ensuring seamless workflow automation and reliable job scheduling across our diverse IT landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Control M scheduling platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Develop and implement Python scripts and Linux shell scripts to automate various DevOps processes and workflows
• Monitor and analyze Control M job logs, identify and resolve issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective scheduling solutions
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring seamless job execution and timely resolution of issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Control M features and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Control M Administration and Control M Scheduling
• Experienced in Linux/Python scripting for automation and integration tasks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to document processes, create user guides, and provide training to stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
• Development of infrastructure code improvements
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Experience of supporting Control-M as administrator on Unix/Linux
• Good knowledge in operating system - Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision (where required)
• Experience of using DevOps tools like. Jenkins, Git, etc
