About the Job

We are seeking a Graphic Designer & Video Editor (Remote) to create compelling social media content for Abekus. From reels to graphics, your work will help us connect with learners, showcase competitions, and grow our brand across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

• Design eye-catching graphics, banners, and creatives for Abekus campaigns and competitions.
• Edit and produce reels/short-form videos optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Create simple 2D or GIF animations to bring content to life.
• Repurpose learning content into engaging, shareable formats.
• Collaborate with the Abekus content & marketing team to brainstorm new ideas.
• Ensure brand consistency while experimenting with trending styles.

Core Skills (Must-Have):

• Graphic Design (typography, colors, layouts, branding).
• Video Editing (reels, shorts, transitions, audio sync).
• Animation: 2D Animation & GIF Animation for social media.
• Visual Storytelling – ability to craft narratives through design and video.
• Social Media Content Adaptation (platform formats, trends, best practices).
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or alternatives.
• Familiarity with Canva/Figma for quick edits.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Motion graphics and simple explainer animations.
• Awareness of trending reel styles and audio.
• Experience in edtech/startup ecosystems.
