About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Import Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the import process, building strong supplier relationships, and negotiating favorable terms to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods into our organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Documentation of Import: Prepare and maintain accurate import documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and other relevant paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions, to optimize the import process and drive cost efficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate import clearance and delivery of goods.
• Monitor and analyze import data, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in import regulations and customs requirements, and adapt processes accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in import operations or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in documentation of import, supplier relationship management, and negotiation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve import-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for import management and data analysis.
• Knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
