Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing Packaging Operations

– Manage daily packaging activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

2. Quality Control

– Monitor the packing process, identify and resolve issues, and ensure products meet specified quality standards.

3. Inventory Management

– Oversee inventory of packaging materials, ensuring adequate supply levels are maintained.

4. Staff Supervision

– Train and supervise packing staff to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

5. Documentation & Reporting

– Maintain accurate records of packaging activities and generate required reports.

6. Cross-Department Coordination

– Collaborate with departments such as production, quality control, and shipping to ensure smooth workflows.

7. Continuous Improvement

– Identify and implement improvements to packaging processes and operational efficiency.

8. Safety Compliance

– Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

9. Order Fulfillment

– Pull, pack, weigh, and label products according to customer order specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Supervisory Skills – Capable of training, motivating, and overseeing a team.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensure accuracy in packaging, labeling, and fulfilling orders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Proactively identify and resolve issues in the packaging process.
  • Communication Skills – Clear and effective communication with team members and other departments.
  • Technical Skills – Familiarity with packaging equipment and machinery.
  • Safety Knowledge – Understanding and application of safety procedures and compliance.
  • Physical Stamina – Able to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.
  • Computer Literacy – Proficient in record-keeping and using computer systems for reporting.
