The Purchase Manager position at our company in Ahmedabad offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to lead and optimize our purchasing operations. As a FullTime OnSite role, the Purchase Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing vendor relationships, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient purchasing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system to enhance vendor relationships and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with inventory control and sales teams to develop and maintain inventory level metrics.
- Create strategies to manage obsolete stock and oversee day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Implement effective invoicing and collection processes.
- Conduct quality checks on all incoming materials.
- Travel nationally and internationally as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical engineering degree.
- Experience with ERP/SAP software.
- Minimum 4 years of purchasing management experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD drawings.
- Self-managed with ambition, attention to detail, and innovative thinking.
