About the Job

We are looking for a talented and motivated Python Full Stack Developer Intern to join our team at Abekus. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects using Python, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Material UI, and PostgreSQL.

This is a remote internship, ideal for 3rd/4th year students who are eager to build scalable products, experiment with modern frameworks, and bring innovative ideas to life. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, love solving problems, and want exposure to AI/ML-driven applications, this is the role for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python (Flask/FastAPI).
• Build responsive and dynamic UIs with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Material UI.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases for reliable and efficient data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Explore and implement AI/ML algorithms to enhance product features (a big plus).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on new tools, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Python and experience with Flask or FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Good understanding of TypeScript, Tailwind, and Material UI.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL querying.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts (bonus).
• Prior internship or project experience with a similar stack is a strong plus.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ideally a 3rd or 4th year student in Computer Science or related field.
