About the Job

The Relationship Manager role is a crucial position that requires a combination of technical expertise in gold appraisal, valuation, and handling, as well as strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and ethical valuations, adhering to KYC requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate loan approvals. Your primary focus will be on generating new business through customer acquisition and maintaining existing relationships to drive renewal and referral opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% accurate valuation by capturing the right cartage, applying proper stone deduction, and preventing the acceptance of spurious or unacceptable ornaments.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all the laid-down processes and policies, including KYC adherence and online customer registration.
• Coordinate with the Manager and stakeholders to facilitate loan approvals.
• Bring in new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers to generate renewal and referral business.
• Resolve all customer doubts and questions during the loan processing.
• Participate in business development activities to improve the brand visibility of Gold Loan in the catchment areas and generate leads of prospective customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in Gold Appraisal, Valuation, Checking, and Handling
• Excellent communication skills in the local language and elementary English
• Possession of a 2-wheeler and a valid Driving License is mandatory
• Up to 30 years of age.
