About the Job
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist at Vision and Vitality Center, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. You will work in a supportive and growth-oriented environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to individuals with special needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) based on diagnosis and client needs
- Conduct therapy sessions for conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech Delay & Language Disorders, ADHD/ADD, Stuttering/Stammering, Down Syndrome, Articulation and Phonological Disorders
- Maintain documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (OTs, Optometrists, Behavioral Therapists)
- Educate and counsel parents and caregivers about therapy goals and home strategies
- Participate in workshops, awareness camps, and parent training programs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Speech and Hearing / Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP)
- RCI Registration (preferred or in process)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
