Account Manager - Commercial Sales

Overview

Own, retain, and expand a defined book of strategic accounts as an Account Manager for Commercial Sales, driving multi-product growth and durable executive relationships.

What you'll do

• Own a portfolio of strategic customers for long-term revenue growth and retention.
• Drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal performance across multi-product SaaS portfolios.
• Identify expansion levers using usage data, customer maturity, org structure, and business goals.
• Engage engineering leaders, technical stakeholders, and economic buyers at strategic accounts.
• Hold regular in-person meetings, including onsite visits, to build partnerships and accelerate growth.
• Ensure predictable renewals by reinforcing value, outcomes, and ROI ahead of contract milestones.
• Operate cross-functionally as the central point of ownership and maintain Salesforce hygiene for forecasting.

What you'll need

• 2 - 5 years of experience aligned to account management, farming, expansion, upsell, or cross-sell.
• Willingness to work region-aligned time zones based on customer coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience selling to technical audiences and executive-level stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of Software SaaS (or SaaS-adjacent) business models.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, self-directed start-up environment.
• Tech and SaaS passion with strong customer centricity and empathy.

Details

• Remote position, but candidate must be based in Mumbai.
• Role reports to the Sales Manager.
