Accountant in Residence (AIR)

Overview

An embedded accounting professional within the Product organization who acts as the accounting check on FloQast's AI and automation features, verifying that they conform to real-world accounting practices and customer workflows.

What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams building FloQast's suite of AI and automation features.
• Verify that features conform to real-world accounting practices and customer workflows.
• Explain how accounting works in practice to engineers, product managers and designers.
• Help teams plan and design features, answer questions, troubleshoot and unblock the work.
• Build and maintain FloQast's library of out-of-the-box playbooks: step-by-step accounting procedures that AI-driven automation can run and an auditor can read.
• Help define new use cases and ideas for the product through playbook work.

Details

• Location: Pune, alongside the research and development team.
• Working primarily with the team on the ground in India.
• Some meetings with colleagues in other regions are part of the role.
• Two AIR positions are being hired in India to work across the whole product.
