Build and prototype enterprise-ready AI solutions for healthcare stakeholders, from problem discovery through full-stack development and production governance.
What you'll do
- Engage business stakeholders to surface ambiguous, high-value problems and translate them into buildable AI opportunities.
- Map existing processes end-to-end to identify where AI can reduce cost, eliminate friction, or accelerate decisions.
- Design and build working AI prototypes quickly and iterate using real user feedback toward production-grade quality.
- Develop full-stack AI applications including LLM orchestration, RAG, agentic workflows, REST API integrations, and lightweight front-end interfaces.
- Apply responsible AI and governance practices such as bias review, explainability, HIPAA compliance, audit logging, and model monitoring.
- Participate in client business rhythm meetings, share progress via demos, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical leaders.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of healthcare industry experience in specific operational or clinical workflows.
- Proficiency with Claude (Anthropic) including demonstrated use of the Claude API (prompt engineering, tool use, agentic patterns).
- Full-stack AI engineering capability to build and ship end-to-end AI applications independently, including LLM integration, RAG, agentic orchestration, REST APIs, and front-end interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to prototype by moving from a business conversation to a working AI prototype in days.
- Business articulation and stakeholder communication ability for healthcare executive meetings.
- Maturity to engage at the executive level, including steering committees and executive briefings.
- Quantitative fluency to build ROI and impact measurement business cases.
