AI Security Analyst

Overview

AI Security Analyst for building AI security and governance capability, focused on detecting, investigating, and containing risk across AI tools, agents, and models used in AlphaSense’s environment.

What you'll do

• Continuously monitor CASB/SWG, OAuth, and endpoint telemetry to discover unsanctioned AI tools, extensions, and API-level agents.
• Classify findings by risk tier and escalate unauthorized deployments for containment.
• Investigate alerts tied to autonomous agents and AI-powered workflows, including anomalous tool chains and credential misuse.
• Monitor DLP and AI usage logs for signs of sensitive data leaving via prompts, uploads, plugins, and MCP connectors.
• Govern developer-facing AI tool usage (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) for policy compliance, credential exposure, and non-human identity risk.
• Maintain and validate AI activity logging and data retention controls for auditability.

What you'll need

• Have 3-5+ years of security analysis, SOC, or GRC analyst experience.
• Know SIEM platforms including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Google Chronicle.
• Know DLP/CASB tooling.
• Understand AI/LLM risk concepts such as prompt injection and shadow AI.
• Be familiar with non-human identity concepts like service accounts, API keys, and OAuth tokens.
• Have basic scripting/query proficiency in Python, SQL, or SPL/KQL.
• Have strong written documentation habits.
