Analyst, Business & Competitive Intelligence

Overview

The Analyst, Business & Competitive Intelligence supports business growth by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for the Business Development team through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.

What you'll do

• Liaise with the Business Development team to identify target companies for nurtured outreach and meeting/RFP provision.
• Analyze the competitive environment to make recommendations.
• Develop and maintain an annual outreach plan reviewed monthly.
• Conduct market, competition, and product mix research and analysis for specified product markets.
• Coordinate with Marketing teams to provide appropriate sales collateral.
• Update CRM and sales enablement systems and generate weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Provide feedback to the LM and Business Development leadership on pricing, competitiveness, and market positioning.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communication/science or business-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience in the product/service sales lifecycle including client identification and prospecting.
• Direct B2B sales experience in a service industry.
• Ability to undertake domestic and international travel including overnight stays.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of English.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets and quotas.
• Ability to work independently and plan in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry or the life sciences industry.
