Applications Engineer

Overview

As an Applications Engineer, you’ll support customers and sales partners with analog/mixed-signal power management IC and systems solutions, including field application support and joint development.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support to customers and sales channel partners across the territory.
• Coordinate technical matters with the Factory in California and design centers in Hangzhou and Chengdu as needed.
• Support joint development programs with customers.
• Collaborate with customers on system architecture design and troubleshooting.
• Lead technical discussions and hands-on demonstrations, including evaluation kit usage.
• Develop and deliver technical training for internal teams and customers.

What you'll need

• 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in analog power management electronics, design/test, or as a Field Application Engineer in semiconductors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent oral and written communication in the local language.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel to support customer sites as needed.
• Ability to operate under minimum supervision.

Details

• Support outside sales representatives at customer accounts within a geographic location.
• Some travel within a specific region is involved.
