Applied Value Engineer- CPGR/CMT-NAM

Overview

Senior Applied Value Engineer (CPGR/CMT-NAM) working with strategic customers to prototype AI solutions and drive Proof-of-Value through the Celonis Process Intelligence platform.

What you'll do

• Understand customers’ AI strategy and business-critical challenges and translate requirements into solutions.
• Build and demonstrate value through rapid prototyping and hackathons using cutting-edge AI technologies.
• Support ROI from AI deployments at scale, enabling autonomous AI agents powered by Celonis Process Intelligence.
• Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, including architecture and secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG and guardrails.
• Stay involved until agreed value and adoption thresholds are reached.
• Specialize in domains or industries to scale knowledge (e.g., supply chain).

What you'll need

• 6+ years leading technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps and building ROI/TCO business cases.
• CPGR (Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail) industry experience is must.
• Knowledge of generative AI techniques including RAG, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Ability to understand business processes (e.g., supply chain or finance) and map needs to AI use cases.
• Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch).
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in relevant fields.
