Overview
Assistant Associate-Warehouse role in Pfizer’s manufacturing logistics and supply team, supporting timely movement of materials and finished goods and compliance with required SOPs and regulations.
What you'll do
- Complete tasks within agreed timeframes using standard procedures and moderate supervision.
- Troubleshoot moderately routine process issues and help resolve them.
- Support movement of materials and finished goods using equipment like forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.
- Ensure periodic review of work with a focus on sound technical judgment.
- Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, plant safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with corporate and government regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support for hi-rise operations and complete documentation via a computerized inventory system.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to complete documentation related to inventory movement.
- Advanced knowledge of information management practices and concepts.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to verbal and written instructions/facility documents.
- Ability to operate motorized forklifts.
- Proactive and effective communication within and across shifts.
- Advanced electronic and computer skills including Excel, Word, Microsoft dynamics, Visio, and SharePoint.
