Associate

Overview

Associate role handling daily reconciliation of cash, positions and transactions across multiple securities and instruments, coordinating break resolution with clients, prime brokers, counterparties and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions and transactions for Equity, Corporate Bond, MBS, Derivatives (OTC & Listed), Repo, Bank Loan, and private securities.
• Analyze and understand all security and cash position differences related to reconciliations.
• Coordinate the break resolution process with clients, prime brokers, counterparties and internal departments.
• Upload trades in the trade capture tool, either manually or through auto loading of files received from managers or prime brokers.
• Carry out trade confirmation with counterparties.
• Track corporate actions.
• Monitor fail trades and settlement.
• Lead small, moderately complex projects or work on complex tasks requiring a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness and self-initiative.
• Evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues, develop creative solutions and recommend new procedures.

What you'll need

• Master's degree and 1 year of related experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, OR high school degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues.
