associate project Engineer

Overview

Associate Project Engineer acting as technical lead for engineering activities in DCS automation projects for Process Industries.

What you'll do

• Lead technical execution of engineering activities across project engineering disciplines.
• Act as design authority for a specific engineering discipline and complete related assignments.
• Work on end-to-end DCS projects covering Automation systems for Metals/Pulp & Paper/Mining/Cement sectors.
• Prepare and approve basic engineering drawings (e.g., SLD, GA, IGA, fabrication drawings).
• Support project engineers/leads by following engineering & commissioning workflow as per QMS.
• Handle application control software and graphics and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests for own area.

What you'll need

• Minimum B.Tech/B.E/Diploma with First Class in Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics engineering.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in Automation systems & controls with relevant process experience in Cement/Mining/Metals/Pulp & Paper.
• Fair knowledge of automation systems for manufacturing industries.
• Good knowledge of DCS/PLC hardware & software components.
• Experience handling site works such as installation, I/O checks, panel testing, and power on checks.
• Knowledge of low voltage switchgears such as PCCs & MCC.
