Associate Project Engineer

Overview

Associate Project Engineer supporting engineering activities for Process Automation projects in ABB’s Energy division. You’ll perform engineering tasks cost-effectively and support engineering design data collection and verification activities.

What you'll do

• Support engineering activities across project sizes and complexities under senior engineers’ supervision.
• Complete engineering tasks cost-effectively in line with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
• Collect data and support production of engineering design.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Use checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and guidelines.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience in engineering, commissioning, and technical support for Electrical Power Management systems.
• Experience immersed in engineering and commissioning of Electrical Power Management systems.
• Experience in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical market.
• Proficiency with CILMS, EDMS, ECS, IEC61850, SAS, and related protocols/tools listed in the posting.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with professional experience in Electrical Power Management.
• Ability to communicate in English and any other popular Indian languages.
