Associate Project Engineer - Primary Engineering

Overview

Associate Project Engineer (Primary Engineering) supporting GIS Primary Offer Engineering for tender-specific engineering documents and drawings.

What you'll do

• Support Sales & Tendering engineers with tender-specific documents and drawings.
• Deliver primary engineering tasks for Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) for transmission and sub-transmission systems.
• Prepare drawings and documents for customer submission for GIS above 66kV.
• Create deliverables including Gas SLD, GIS layout, cable tray layout, earthing layout, and overview documents.
• Perform calculations including system resistance, thermal loss, gas volume, earthing mat, and cable-related calculations.
• Support cost estimation using BOM and summary inputs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in EEE or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in tendering or design of LV, MV, HV, or EHV products.
• Good knowledge about substations.
• Knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCad, Creo/Equivalent).
• Familiarity with standards like IEC, IEEE, and ANSI.
• Team player with the ability to prepare solutions on time.
