Associate Software Engineer

Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer on the QA Enablement team, you will build high-scale platforms, AI-driven tooling, and CI/CD integrations that improve developer experience and enable product teams to ship code with confidence. The initial focus is native mobile applications on iOS and Android, with support for web and UI applications.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain centralized end-to-end test suites for core user journeys using modern sanity and regression frameworks.
• Implement LLM-powered solutions to diagnose test failures, suggest selector fixes, and categorize flaky versus real regressions.
• Operate and scale end-to-end execution using automation tools.
• Integrate team-owned end-to-end tests into shared sanity and regression pipelines.
• Define test execution strategies, tagging, and ownership models.
• Architect and maintain high-concurrency CI/CD workflows for automated testing.
• Build Golden Path pipeline templates that teams can adopt with zero configuration.
• Integrate automated tests with pull requests, scheduled runs, and release workflows.
• Improve execution reliability, speed, and parallelization.
• Design, build, and maintain internal and beta tools for automated testing of native mobile apps on iOS and Android, and web and UI applications.
• Improve test authoring experience, test execution reliability, debugging, and observability.
• Consult with product teams to integrate their tests into high-speed pipelines.
• Define organization-wide automation standards and Golden Paths.
• Build and maintain reference implementations and modular templates that product teams can fork and deploy.
• Partner with product squads to solve automation bottlenecks and architect scalable test strategies.
• Drive adoption of quality-first engineering through technical workshops and design reviews.
• Build telemetry dashboards to track test performance, bottleneck latency, and failure patterns across the SDLC.
• Engineer self-healing mechanisms and noise-reduction tools to identify and quarantine flaky tests.
• Tune CI/CD workflows so developers receive high-signal results in minutes.
• Develop tooling that aggregates logs, stack traces, and screenshots for failure analysis.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Java or Python/Kotlin.
• A desire to work across the full stack, including Angular/React.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn other languages and tools to enable automated testing at scale.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Experience building shared frameworks, internal tools, or platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• A systems-thinking approach focused on building systems that prevent tests from breaking.
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: customer, innovation, team, accountability, and trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics.

Details

• Location: Mumbai.
• Hybrid work model with two days in-office.
• On the remaining days, you can choose to work remotely or in the office.
• Two onsite days are determined by you and your manager, ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
