BestDrive Commercial Sales Associate (EG)

Overview

Commercial Sales Associate is the main sales and service contact for a commercial tire dealership, focused on selling industrial and truck tires, retreads, and tire services to fleets and accounts.

What you'll do

• Sell commercial tires for area fleets.
• Promote new truck tires, retreads, and related tire services.
• Solicit existing commercial store accounts and follow up regularly.
• Call on prospective new accounts to build a profitable book of business.
• Maintain accounts by conducting regular sales calls and follow-ups.
• Work through the existing business operating system for billing of sales channels.
• Prepare weekly sales plans and complete call reports per company procedures.

What you'll need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a DOT med card.
• Previous sales experience.
• Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication ability.
• Ability to pass background check including employment history, SSN verification, and criminal history.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Previous commercial tire sales experience.
• 5+ years experience in the tire industry.
• Retread tire knowledge.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5, Monday–Friday, with Saturday/evenings as needed.
• Travel: 75% within a regional area; minimal overnight travel.
• Complies with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• No relocation assistance is offered.
