BestDrive Service Technician

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician performs commercial vehicle and medium truck tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairs, including off-the-road tires and related service.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount/install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and determine repairable tire conditions.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service using established procedures.
• Review work orders, discuss work with supervisors, and document work performed.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools including boom cranes, jacks, and compressors.
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating nights/weekends basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship for this opening.
• Communicate verbally and in writing clearly with co-workers and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.

Details

• General work hours are 7–5, Monday–Friday; Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Position operates indoors and outdoors; exposure to heat and cold is expected.
• Required to lift 75–100 lbs routinely; may occasionally lift up to 150 lbs.
• Must comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
