BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician is responsible for commercial vehicle and medium truck tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repair, including service for off-the-road equipment.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount tires and install tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and determine repairable tire conditions.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service following procedures.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools (e.g., cranes, jacks, compressors).
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements for the position.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
• Work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of tire service technician experience.
• CDL License.
• TIA certification.

Details

• Sign-on bonus amounts vary by level: $1,500 (Technician I) to $4,500 (Technician IV).
• Bonus paid in installments after 30, 90, and 180 days (eligibility requirements apply).
• Work hours generally 7–5, Monday–Friday; Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk; required to lift 75–100 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
• Must handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
