BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

Service Technician for BestDrive handling commercial vehicle and medium truck tire service and repairs, including mounting/dismounting, balancing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by determining repairable tire conditions and performing repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service and follow established procedures.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed accurately.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools (e.g., boom cranes, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment).
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating night/weekend basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship for this job opening.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and management.
• Work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday; Saturday and evenings as needed with limited notice.
• Operates in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to heat and cold.
• Required to lift 75–100 lbs routinely and may need to lift up to 150 lbs occasionally.
