BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

Service BestDrive tires for commercial vehicles and medium trucks, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairs, and related documentation.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and make repairs based on condition.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating overnight/weekend basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Have ability to work as a team and independently.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday; Saturday/evenings as needed.
• All indoor and outdoor work environments with exposure to heat and cold.
• Lift 75–100 lbs routinely; may occasionally lift up to 150 lbs.
• Must comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Sign-on bonus available by Service Technician level (installments after 30, 90, and 180 days) subject to eligibility.
