BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

Service Technician for BestDrive, responsible for commercial and medium truck tire mounting, dismounting, repair, and related equipment maintenance.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by following established inspection and repair procedures.
• Review work orders, discuss work with supervisors, and document work performed.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools, including cranes, jacks, and compressors.
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating nights/weekends basis.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle and onboard tools per safety and appearance expectations.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Be able to work on a team and independently.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form with coworkers and management.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; the employer will not sponsor for employment visas.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday, with Saturday and evenings as needed.
