BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician position focused on mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing commercial vehicle and medium truck tires and related services.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by following established inspection procedures.
• Review work orders with supervisors and discuss needed work.
• Document work performed accurately per company policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools (e.g., boom cranes, jacks, compressors).
• Respond to emergency road service calls on a rotating nights/weekends basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is provided.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of tire service technician experience.
• CDL License.
• TIA certification.

Details

• Work hours generally 7–5 Monday–Friday; Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Operating in indoor and outdoor environments with expected exposure to heat and cold.
• Regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk.
• Required to occasionally lift up to 150 lbs and routinely lift 75–100 lbs; handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
