BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician (EG) performs essential commercial vehicle and medium truck tire service and repairs, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repair for off-the-road equipment.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by inspecting pre- and post-service conditions.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels using hand and power tools.
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating night/weekend basis.
• Document work performed and comply with OSHA safety requirements.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and management.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship by employer).

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of tire service technician experience.
• CDL License.
• TIA certification.

Details

• Work hours generally 7–5, Monday–Friday; Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Rotating emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends.
• Required to lift 75–100 lbs routinely; may occasionally lift up to 150 lbs.
• Exposure to heat and cold due to indoor and outdoor work environments.
