BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician repairs and services commercial vehicle and medium truck tires, including tire mount/dismount, balancing, and related documentation and safety compliance.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by assessing repairable tire conditions and performing repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service using established procedures.
• Review work orders, discuss work with supervisors, and document work performed accurately.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools, including boom cranes, jacks, compressors, and hydraulic/electric equipment.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a Valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers and management.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.

Nice to have

• Have 1–2 years of tire service technician experience.
• Hold a CDL License.
• Have TIA certification.

Details

• Work hours generally 7–5 Monday–Friday, with Saturday/evenings as needed.
• Rotating emergency road service calls on nights/weekends.
