BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician is responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing commercial vehicle and medium truck tires and wheels for off-the-road equipment, following established procedures and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount tire and wheel assemblies for commercial vehicle and medium truck use.
• Repair tires by determining repairable tire conditions and performing repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service using established procedures.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and related tools.
• Review work orders with supervisors and discuss work performed.
• Document work performed accurately according to company policy.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a Valid Driver’s License.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is provided.
• Communicate verbally and in writing clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work both on a team and independently.

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of tire service technician experience.
• CDL License.
• TIA certification.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday, with Saturday and evenings as needed.
• Sign-on bonus may be available depending on Service Technician level.
