Business Intelligence Engineer (Bangladesh)

Overview

Commure is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to scale global operations infrastructure for core product lines, moving beyond dashboards to build internal applications, automated workflows, and ETL pipelines.

What you'll do

• Build interactive internal applications and automation workflows using JavaScript and Python.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL pipelines.
• Develop UI/UX workflows that reduce manual effort for non-technical operators.
• Implement version control and CI/CD practices to meet QA standards.
• Set up centralized, scalable operational databases and enable automated processes like CRONs.
• Create scripts, webhooks, and API integrations to automate data-source connections.
• Act as a technical liaison between operations, product, and data engineering teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or highly related).
• 3+ years professional experience in software engineering (analytics focus), analytics engineering, or technical operations.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database architecture.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python with experience building full-stack web solutions or APIs or internal tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD workflows (strictly required).
• Strong communication to bridge deep technical work and business strategy.
• Commitment to data accuracy, clean code, and robust technical documentation.

Details

• Shift: Night shift, 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (BST).
• Workdays: Monday to Friday.
• Location: Bangladesh (from job title).
