Overview

Buyer role supporting the European procurement strategy for non-trading goods and services within ContiTrade EMEA, serving as an interface between purchasing teams and strategic suppliers.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, including cross-market sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Establish structured stakeholder management to reflect regional requirements in procurement activities.
• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives and continuously improve procurement processes.
• Collaborate with regional/local buyers and the Tires PU organization to align procurement activities.
• Lead and optimize the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process for compliance, data integrity, and system integration.
• Support shaping and implementing the European procurement strategy for NTG, including target concepts and operational measures.
• Prepare and conduct tenders, compare offers, and negotiate contracts for complex procurement projects.

What you'll need

• University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Purchasing / Category management in a multinational setting, preferably for non-trading goods / non-production materials.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced negotiation skills.
• Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken), minimum level B2.
• Ability to work analytically and independently, and think strategically and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with team orientation.
