Calibration/Metrology Engineer/Sr. Engineer (M/F/D)

Overview

Calibration/Metrology Engineer/Sr. Engineer role in Site Quality focused on applying safety and quality standards and operating plant calibration systems.

What you'll do

• Apply safety standards and adhere to V5000, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 using QRQC methodology.
• Develop and maintain plant-wide calibration systems according to applicable standards.
• Perform measurement and analysis of raw material tests.
• Calibrate control, measurement, and test equipment based on the calibration program.
• Control and keep updated records for plant measurement, calibration, and testing equipment.
• Prepare reports for test results, dimensional evaluations, and calibrations.
• Control external calibration/measurement/testing services with traceability to national/international standards.

What you'll need

• Knowledge and compliance with V5000 and ISO/IATF 16949 procedures and customer requirements.
• Experience applying QRQC methodology (all functions).
• Ability to calibrate plant equipment according to calibration types and studies in the calibration program.
• Competence in preparing reports for calibrations, dimensional evaluations, and test results.
• Ability to advise personnel involved in measurement, calibration, and testing.
• Participation in measurement workshops and training plan interpretation.
