Overview
Cloud Platform Engineer (DevOps/Cloud Platforms) responsible for designing, operating, and optimizing cloud environments and internal developer platforms.
What you'll do
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and config management using IaC and scripting.
- Deploy, maintain, and manage lifecycle of systems including Kubernetes clusters and internal developer platforms.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues with root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Implement security best practices including identity, secrets handling, audit logging, and network controls.
What you'll need
- 4-8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, or similar roles.
- Comfort with Git and at least one systems programming language (Golang) plus one scripting language (Python or Bash).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or SaltStack).
- Working knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Datadog.
- Hands-on production experience managing Kubernetes.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Nice to have
- Cloud provider certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps, GCP DevOps Engineer).
- Strong software development skills building production services, automation, APIs, and infrastructure tooling.
- Experience applying AI/ML tools for DevOps/infrastructure workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM automation).
- Experience with LangChain, AI agents, and MCP for agent-based solutions.
