Commercial Sales Engineer - NY/NJ

Overview

Commercial Sales Engineer for Zscaler’s East team, supporting prospective customers with technical presentations, solution fit, and product evaluations. This is a remote role reporting to the Manager of Sales Engineering.

What you'll do

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer goals.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide them to successful outcomes.

What you'll need

• Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls).
• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Ability to travel to visit with customers.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging/securing/positioning AI-driven solutions.
