Overview

Communications Specialist for gaming, leading communications initiatives, plans, and earned media efforts across gaming events and content.

What you'll do

• Drive communications for gaming projects, events, and content formats.
• Create comprehensive communication plans for gaming events and initiatives.
• Amplify gaming presence through media coverage and earned media outcomes.
• Manage the Gaming Social Opinion Leader (SOL) program and strategy.
• Oversee budgets and prioritize projects with highest return on investment.
• Identify athlete and industry opportunities and connect with key gaming personalities.
• Spot and support local market content opportunities across countries with global potential.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience as a communications/public relations professional in communications, PR, marketing, media-led companies, or a professional gaming environment.
• Gamer by heart and living/breathing the gaming environment.
• Experience with gaming tools such as Twitch, Twitter, and Discord.
• Strong understanding of the global gaming landscape and current media trends.
• Proven track record of securing brand reach and engagement via earned media amplification.
• Strong project management and presentation skills with PowerPoint knowledge.
• Fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
