Compliance Engineer

Overview

Join the Engineering team in Bangalore as a Compliance Engineer contributing to the design, development, reliability testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products. The role reports to the Bangalore Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Direct and conduct internal compliance testing, leading efforts to solve engineering safety issues resulting in compliance testing.
• Ensure product designs meet applicable regulation requirements, including certification, ongoing testing, and processing requirements.
• Maintain regulatory approvals and resolve compliance issues with design and manufacturing engineering.
• Develop new or modified process formulations.
• Define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications.
• Review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
• Coordinate design requirement reviews with appropriate engineering personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
• Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.

What you'll need

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of related experience.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
• Sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
• Regularly use electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
