Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Custom Software Engineer role at Accenture to analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients, with an AI-first mindset using Generative and Agentic AI frameworks.

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients.
• Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work on existing applications.
• Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
• Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realization.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
