Data Engineer ETL

Overview

Build and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data architecture and pipelines for durable, complete, consistent data transfer and processing.
• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes with the required security measures.
• Develop processing and analysis algorithms for intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
• Engage in complex data analysis across multiple internal and external sources.
• Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Lead and coach a team (or lead collaborative assignments as an individual contributor) to deliver business-function impact.

What you'll need

• Preferably have ETL experience with Abnitio and DBT.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Unix and bash scripting experience.
• Experience with Tivoli and/or Autosys.
• Data modelling experience (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Good communication skills.
• Good teamwork experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and/or Java.
