Data Scientist Manager

Overview

Lead the design, development, and optimization of data-driven solutions for Sales Order Management (SOM) and global Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations, improving order quality and cycle times.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, along with Change and Quality specialists.
• Define and own the strategy for the SOM business rules engine, including governance and audit-ability standards.
• Analyze end-to-end SOM processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Design and deploy predictive and prescriptive models to optimize order processing and decision making.
• Build anomaly detection models to identify order quality issues and compliance risks.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using machine learning, RPA, and workflow technologies.

What you'll need

• 5 to 10 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, process optimization, or automation.
• 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C), Sales Order Management, or Customer Operations.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of AWS Glue.
• Experience with process mining tools such as Celonis or process intelligence platforms.
