Overview
Director of Recruiting, Engineering & IT for India, leading India-based recruiting and shaping technical hiring across Asia-Pacific.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a multi-layered recruiting organization, including recruiting managers and individual contributors.
- Own senior and executive-level technical searches in the region.
- Set sourcing, talent pipeline, and market strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Advise senior Engineering and IT leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and hiring priorities.
- Define regional hiring metrics and reporting, and recommend solutions to hiring risks and bottlenecks.
- Partner with People Business Partners, Compensation, Finance, and recruiting leaders on headcount strategy and process/tooling improvements.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging and strengthen candidate and hiring team experiences for all-remote collaboration.
What you'll need
- Experience leading recruiting in high-growth, enterprise-scale or similarly complex hiring environments.
- Experience managing recruiting managers or leading a multi-layered recruiting organization.
- Deep experience recruiting Engineering and IT talent across individual contributor to senior/executive roles.
- Experience sourcing, engaging, and closing passive candidates for senior technical and leadership roles.
- Knowledge of India’s technology talent market and experience setting hiring strategy across India and broader Asia-Pacific.
- A data-informed approach to recruiting, including hiring metrics/dashboards, market intelligence, ATS, and sourcing tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally when advising senior leaders on recruiting strategy.
Details
- Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition or an equivalent senior talent acquisition leader.
- Supports hiring for 100 to 200+ Engineering and IT requisitions across India and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
- Role is all-remote and globally distributed (India-based recruiting and broader Asia-Pacific hiring).
