Job Description

Overview

Electrical Project Engineer I focused on electrical design for Lighting and Socket Systems across BHS/industrial infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

Develop conceptual and basic design schemes for normal, emergency, EXIT lighting, and power socket systems.
Prepare preliminary and detailed electrical load calculations for lighting and socket systems.
Create lighting layouts with lux calculations and DALI-based lighting control system inputs.
Produce panel schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), distribution schemes, and cable routing drawings.
Coordinate BIM interfaces and multidisciplinary coordination for panel locations, routing, and equipment interfaces.
Prepare shop drawings, installation details, and complete as-built documentation.

What you'll need

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
6+ years experience in industrial, airport, BHS, infrastructure, or large commercial projects (preferred).
Hands-on experience in lighting calculations and electrical distribution design.
Experience in BIM-coordinated projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Caneco, Relux Desktop, Dialux, and AutoCAD; BIM/Revit tools.
Knowledge of NFPA requirements for emergency and EXIT lighting, and IEC/local electrical standards.
