Electrical Project Engineer I

Overview

Electrical Project Engineer I to design, engineer, coordinate, and support execution of electrical power distribution systems for Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and related infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Develop power distribution architecture for BHS and MDN systems.
• Define load categories and electrical demand requirements based on project specs.
• Create detailed electrical load calculations and functional design specifications.
• Prepare and finalize electrical deliverables including SLDs, panel schedules, and feeder sizing.
• Coordinate PDP engineering with OEMs and suppliers and run engineering studies.
• Produce electrical layouts, shop drawings, installation details, and as-built documentation.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in electrical power distribution engineering.
• Strong knowledge of LV power distribution systems.
• Hands-on experience with Caneco, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and BIM coordination environments.
• Good understanding of IEC standards and electrical protection systems.
• Understanding of UPS and essential power systems, earthing & bonding, and harmonic mitigation.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Full-time role based in Pune.
• Experience in airport/BHS/infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
