Engineer- Cabling and LV Systems

Overview

Engineer for cabling and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems to deliver engineering work including cable design, LV system specifications, BOQs/RFQs, documentation, and support during erection/commissioning.

What you'll do

• Design system cabling per project requirements.
• Prepare cable sizing calculation notes and finalize cable parameters.
• Create cable lists/schedules and termination schedules/charts.
• Prepare BOQs for cable and accessories and RFQ specifications/datasheets for cables.
• Develop LV systems RFQ specifications (e.g., power distribution boards, junction boxes, illumination system).
• Review cable sizing/layout and electrical equipment inputs for documentation completeness.
• Support site team during erection and commissioning for the electrical scope.

What you'll need

• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in cabling and LV systems.
• Knowledge of cabling principles and tools.
• Knowledge of LV systems/power distribution systems.
• Knowledge of electrical load lists.
• Knowledge of codes/standards such as IS, IEC, and IEEE.
• Strong ability to communicate verbally and in written English.

Details

• Location scope: Noida, India.
• Required to undertake some short travels abroad and within India to interface with customers, partners, suppliers, and site.
