Engineer - Dev Ex

Overview

Engineer focused on Developer Productivity and DevEx, building and supporting a secure, flexible software delivery platform for macOS developers and Linux-based CI/CD agents.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and maintain features for a governed software delivery platform.
• Build ergonomic developer tools, CLI interfaces, and APIs.
• Implement automated security guardrails, quarantine rules, and threat screening.
• Maintain telemetry pipelines using Snowflake, Datadog, and Prometheus.
• Automate enforcement of technical governance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering partners on compliance and threat-screening requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and apply system design practices.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience or exposure to Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevEx.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or another infrastructure and tooling language.
• Understanding of macOS and Linux environments.
• Experience with package managers such as Homebrew, pip, and npm.
• Understanding of software supply chain security concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with LLM-based assistants or automated agents.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
