Engineer III - TechOps CICD SRE (Reliability Focused)

Overview

Engineer III on CrowdStrike’s internal SRE/TechOps team to build and maintain a reliable, scalable internal developer platform that improves automation, reliability, and observability for CI/CD and service operations.

What you'll do

• Build software and systems for platform infrastructure and applications.
• Support CrowdStrike’s primary CI/CD build tools.
• Implement automation for service deployment and operational workflows.
• Monitor availability and take a holistic view of system health.
• Design highly available services and improve reliability, quality, and serviceability.
• Implement full-stack observability and optimize instrumentation for production reliability.
• Automate alert correlation, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis via AIOps.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in a large-scale production environment.
• On-premise and cloud expertise deploying, scaling, and maintaining CI/CD and supporting services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Bazel, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Experience with IaC provisioning tools including Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, and Terraform.
• Monitoring and observability tooling including Prometheus/Grafana and Datadog.
• Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes at scale.
• Programming skills in one or more of Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
